How to Add New Stages of Life by DinosaurMan Difficulty: Medium CONTENTS - Step 1 - Step 2 Step 1: Creating the XMLs Take the three young XMLs of your animal, rename the Young to Juvenile or whatever you want to call the stage of life. Do these replacements inside the files as well. Don't forget to edit the scales, and if you'd like, change the models and / or the textures. Step 2: Edits in the TSK Open the TSK file of your animal. Search for "Puberty". Copy that task and the two following tasks. First, replace the puberty in the first three tasks by puberty1. Then replace the puberty in the second three tasks by puberty2 and so on, depending on how many new stages you want to add. After that, the t_Age has to be edited in the same manner. Now you have to edit the stages so they match. Young turn into Juveniles. Juveniles turn into adults etc... Finally, you have to adjust the lifespan values to fit the stages of life. |
