I’ve never had much appreciation for magic. I’ve always found it a bit silly, even. But after watching a show called Magic’s Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed, and especially after watching the performance I’m about to link you to, I have an all new appreciation for the art of magic. This performance captivated me from the start and held me in a trance throughout the whole video. I was in awe at the sheer beauty and wonder of the act, and I now regret that I didn’t have the privilege of growing up experiencing magic like so many kids did. Perhaps the reason I’ve never thought much of magic is because I’ve just never seen a magic show. I truly feel that I’ve been deprived of an important childhood experience, but I have Val Valentino, a legend in magic, to thank for kindling that childlike wonder in me that I haven’t had the joy of experiencing until now.

Even though I understand how he did - or rather, likely, did - a lot of the tricks in this performance due to watching his TV show (mentioned above), as Val Valentino said himself, (and I quote), "...the secret is a small part of it. The real magic is in the performance." And it's true. I was spellbound by this short magic show despite understanding the tricks, and I hope that you can appreciate this performance and get something very special out of it too.
